1. Introduction
At Prime Press Ironing Service, we are committed to providing high-quality ironing services to ensure your garments are handled with care and returned to you in the best possible condition. This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing our garment care services.
2. Pricing & Payment Terms
General Pricing
Prices are based on garment type, fabric, and care instructions. All services are priced according to the type of garment and level of service. Additional fees may apply for difficult items, special treatments, or expedited services.
Payment Methods
We strictly accept payment via Cash or Bank Transfer only. Payment must be settled at the time of collection.
Minimum Charge
A minimum charge of $30.00 applies to all orders.
3. Service Procedures
3.1 Booking & Confirmations
If a confirmation email or text message has not been issued for a pickup or drop-off appointment, Prime Press is not obligated to accept the items and cannot guarantee the provision of our standard quality of service or turnaround times.
3.2 Drop-Off Requirements
- • Garments must be clean and fully dry. We reserve the right to refuse soiled or damp items.
- • Ensure garments are free of hazardous materials (pins, coins, sharp objects) before drop-off.
- • Hangers: Customers must provide their own hangers if clothes are required to be hung. Otherwise, items are returned folded.
3.3 Processing Time
Our standard turnaround for ironing is 1-2 business days, depending on volume and demand. We will provide a specific estimate upon receipt.
3.4 Unclaimed Items
Garments must be picked up within 30 days. After this period, unclaimed items may incur a storage fee of $30, or may be donated/disposed of at our discretion.
4. Refund & Dispute Resolution
4.1 Refund Policy
Refund requests must be made within 5 days of collection. We may offer a re-press, repair, or refund in cases of significant service failure.
Prime Press will determine refund percentages based on the condition and age of the garment. Depreciation will be considered.
4.2 Damage Claims
Any damage must be reported within 5 days of pickup. We will assess the claim and, if determined to be our fault, provide compensation based on the value of the garment. Proof of purchase and photographs will be required.
5. Liability
Prime Press is not liable for:
- Natural wear and tear or fabric weaknesses.
- Items with missing or illegible care tags.
- Damage arising from incorrect customer instructions.
Handover Responsibility
Customers are responsible for adequate handover. Items must be bagged or in baskets; contents should not exceed capacity or overflow.
6. Privacy & Data
We respect your privacy and adhere to local data protection laws. Personal information collected is used solely for service provision and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
